A QUICK RECAP OF 2019 LIFE
hello y’all! I decided to finally get back on writing more articles despite my busy life!
Here are some of the recaps of my 2019-2020 I’d be happy to share them with you since I’ll update you what I have gone thru & tell you some of my worthy to share experiences! I also had documented films of my important 2019 dates starting April up to present.
If you’re new here, Hi! I am Kidd, I am a Blogger based in Legazpi,Albay (Bicol) I started my blog wayback 2015 since I was about to go to college. I was taking up BS Nursing at Bicol University Main Campus.
I survived almost a year of not posting photos on my feed or even finished a drafted blogpost. To be honest, I am grateful to have my social media detox for a while and I am actually proud of it. I enjoyed having a life outside the media. I had to do it since I think I need to lessen the things I have to think of everyday. Maintaining a feed was not as easy as it looks like, it took most of my time as I try to make contents which are different from other bloggers. Back then I used to be so obsessed with Instagram, then came a point that I really felt the pressure to post everything everyday and it burnt me out.
As you can see I had my last post on April 5, 2019 which was the day before my graduation or a day after? Okay sige limot ko na. But, it was the last event that I attended to. It was the opening of Chatime at SM City Legazpi until then I haven’t posted anything.
JANUARY FEBRUARY MARCH 2019 — Last year was a great year for me, besides that I am a graduating student I also was able to meet my expectations on my first 3 months. I enrolled on a gym with the best coaches, I was able to meet my expected weight before graduation. I focused more on myself, family and family business. First it was a bit tiring but when I got used to what I was doing it became a routine. Back then I would choose going to where our business was located instead of attending parties, university events and even traded my weekend rest days into business handling days. I can’t hide the fact that I was also enjoying it as it also brought me closer to my family. I also had come up with realizations with whom my real friends were, got reunited with my super long lost childhood friend. Spending the last few days in college was super duper fun. Besides accomplishing our requirements for graduation, I had to spend most of my time with my friends.
(( Kung may BUeños man na nag babasa, the clearances before graduation is a no joke ))
APRIL 2019 — I am finally a degree holder! I GRADUATED 🎓 This was a big leap! I can’t believe how proud I am for myself. Imagine the twist of faith I had when I chose a different school + course then changing them a day before the interview. No regrets! I had the best mentors and survived it with priceless experiences.
It was happy until the review days came. Actually we were starting our review ahead of time na. We got schedules already before we graduated. This was also the time I did my social media detox, my facebook was deactivated since March while the rest was after I posted my graduation instagram story on a private account.
MAY 2019 — I had learned to discipline my self in many ways. I made my own routine to follow everyday which I believe can help me pass. It was really a tough month, I can’t help but to have doubts on myself and with this kind of situation your faith in God will be challenged, you need to both make time and prioritize what is needed to be prioritized.
JUNE 2019 — JUNE 02-03 was the judgement day. First day palang sis I was emotional, I couldn’t express how I feel syempre I cried. Then the next day came, I slept instead of eating the food that I want.
I went home with my stuff and started to quarantine myself. I had no social media for weeks.
21st JUNE, 2019. — I PASSED THE PNLE 2019!!!!
As I have said, I was handling our family business, I was with my grandparents, siblings of my mom & little sister that day. I was tired from the work and routine that we have done. But I was feeling it that the results will be posted tonight but no time!!!??
It was about to be 12mn and I am on my way to bed after a long shower. THEN CAME THE NOTIFICATION OF PRC POSTING THE LIST OF PASSERS R-Z. I was shocked as I hurriedly went downstairs for no reason. I have refreshed the twitter page saw the “A-G list” and jumped for joy as I see my name on my list. *nag screenshot muna ako bago mag refresh kasi sis baka mawala pero hindi naman hehe* Everyone was completely emotional even my grandparents cried. Actually I wasn’t even planning to post that I have passed the PNLE. I saw my tito tagging my dad and everyone even my relatives abroad were congratulating me sending me messages with their screenshots with my name on it. But then I had to call my parents ASAP but they weren’t answering. I was able to reach my dad around 3am, he said that he knew I would pass kaya he was asleep already. Pero hours before galit na yan sakin kasi wala pa results ng boards????
Well my mom, a classic one. I knew I couldn’t get her on her phone while she’s sleeping. She got the news around 5am na when everyone’s asleep except her. Pero nag sink in around 9am since she started crying and calling me thru my phone. But the first thing I did when I woke up was checking the list again, sis baka kasi mawala so I had to HAHAHA sorry!!!
JULY 2019 — Celebration Month, Yes you read that one right. A month wouldn’t be enough to celebrate everything you have worked for. Besides the perks of being a Bueño student, hospitals from nowhere notices that you have passed the PNLE. Hospitals have special treatments with newly passed nurses from the Top 10 Best Nursing School Nationwide. On this month I got to decide where I will work upon getting my license. Also we are waiting for the oathtaking and accomplishing requirements for the PRC ID. I did my own decision regarding my first work. Then I applied and started packing.
AUGUST 2019
05 AUGUST 2019 — was our oath-taking at a local convention hall along with different schools here in the province. I was with my dad since that time my mom was at the hospital. I get to be with my review buddies and friends again for the last time. We took endless photos together!
06 AUGUST 2019 — the day after the oath-taking. I am now officially departing Legazpi for my first ever job as a Nurse in an institution based in Lipa City, Batangas. I met a lot of friends, we bonded we had our night outs and food-dates! I had my new mentors, it was really hard to cope and keep up with the work. We had shifts, morning and night. But to be honest, I was trained well to be more compassionate and competitive on my work. I had to experience a lot of patients. Some were really friendly while some were not. I also got the chance to be pulled out into stations like the pedia ward, neonatal ward and the charity ward.
SEPTEMBER, OCTOBER — I bonded with my workmates and my dorm-mates!
NOVEMBER
18th NOVEMBER, 2020 — I had to go and resign on my first job. I went back home and was able to celebrate a year in life with my family and friends. Also I had to apply to another work which is more closer with my family and got accepted. I also got the chance to be with my blogging fam again! 🥰
