Quartz Movement

Infinity Timepieces use Quartz movement in timepieces unless stated otherwise. Quartz timepieces are favoured for everyday use given their superior accuracy and reliability, below you'll find a short explanation of how Quartz is used to move a timepiece.

A battery contained in the watch sends an electrical pulse through a piece of quartz, which acts as an oscillator, causing it to vibrate exactly 32768 times per second.

These vibrations are counted by the circuit and converted into a single pulse every second — this pulse results in the consistent movement of the watch hands.

Quartz watches have low maintenance because they contain less moving parts than other movement types and use a battery as their main power source.

Leather Straps

Infinity Timepieces use Semi-aniline genuine leather in all straps. Semi-aniline leather is more durable than aniline whilst still retaining a natural appearance. The increased durability is provided by the application of a light surface coating which contains a small amount of pigment. This ensures consistent colour over time and imparts stain resistance.

Hardened Mineral Glass

We use hardened mineral glass in our timepieces unless stated otherwise. Our founders have many years of experience with Mineral glass and know it to be very reliable but also the most cost-effective to replace.
